When we speak of “worship,” we are referring to the life of congregation: attending worship services, creating music, honoring life.

Love is a key attribute in Christianity. The love of God is a prevalent concept both in the Old Testament and the New Testament.

We are blessed to have a team of devoted individuals who work tirelessly to serve our congregation and community.

Whatever you wear in your everyday walking-around life. Jeans to sport coats, t-shirts to blouses, shorts to pleated khakis, are all fine.

During worship, all children are invited to attend and participate in the various worship
services with their parents. We believe that the presence of children in worship is an
important part of the community of faith in addition to bringing joy and life to worship. 


For the littlest ones (infant to 4 years old) we offer adult staffed nursery during the 10:30 service.

Emanuel Church is an evangelical congregation and our worship services are crafted so
that music and the word work in harmony to provide the message of God’s love to everyone. Our pastor is an expository preacher, and all messages find their foundation in scripture.

Our music is diverse and incorporates the rich theology of beloved hymns and the joy of contemporary Praise Music.

 

Our Sunday Worship Service at 8:00a is a Traditional worship service where you will enjoy singing old and new favorites with organ accompaniment.

 

Our Sunday Worship Service at 10:30a is our Contemporary Service featuring our praise
band where you will be singing favorite praise songs you would hear on Christian radio.


Special Music is always a part of our worship coming from the many talented voices within
our congregation, the Baraboo community and local and national music groups such as
Daniel Ball (formerly of the Ball Brothers), Jody McBrayer (national, award winning
recording artist, Voices of Peace (Wisconsin Gospel Singers), and Selah (international,

Dove Award, praise and worship quartet).

Yes! Emanuel Church is a member of the Global Methodist Church but is made up of people from a variety of denominational backgrounds. Everyone is invited to participate fully in Emanuel’s community of faith.
